Color globes are a most popular design - a bright color field interplay of land masses toning from red to yellow in a sea of lime green darkening to cobalt. This design is achieved through hand drawing the land areas with beeswax as a resist to the second dye bath for the oceans. This design is possible on all egg sizes, and comes self-standing with sand ballast inside the shell. This is an open series.

Topographical Globes require meticulous brushwork to create this portrait of Mother Earth; the land areas are then covered wth beeswax as a resist to the turquoise dyebath for the oceans; the wax is removed and the egg lacquered for shine & durability. This portrait can be painted on either the vertical or horizontal axes of chicken or duck shells - please specify when ordering. These globes come self-standing with sand ballast; open series.
