egg/art: sculpture
As a three dimensional object, one might say that every egg is a piece of sculpture. Having them self-stand (using sand inside the shell as ballast), allows one to appreciate this quality.

Grouping several eggs together creates a whole new phenomenon. The assembled piece communicates two different dynamics: the relationship between each egg and the whole sculpture relating to the viewer.

More recently, I have begun creating sculptures by encrusting found objects with eggshells. By using a strong epoxy to permanently affix plain and/or previously dyed shells, I am transforming these objects into something else and giving them a new life.
